Someone is Waiting
 "The Holy Bible" – the very name evokes an aura of mystery, authority and significance. Every day people around the world consult its pages for spiritual insight, moral direction, and wisdom.
People are hungry for the Bible's refreshment, power and renewal, yet millions of people have never known the wonder of an authentic encounter with the living Word of God.
Perhaps it is because the Bible has never been presented to them in a form they could understand or at a price they could afford. Maybe it has never been translated or published in their own languages; or maybe they have never grasped the importance of God's Word - the Word which has the power to nourish and strengthen their souls and to change their Changing Hearts Changing Lives.
Although portions of the Bible are available in 2,355 languages, people from another 4,000 language groups await their first experience of reading God's Word in their own tongue. The Canadian Bible Society and our United Bible Societies partners around the world exist to serve those who hunger for the message of the Bible.
