The Bible is now available – in whole or in part – in more than 2,285 different languages. Four thousand languages have been identified into which no book of the Bible has been translated, and there is a recognized need for translation into at least 2,000 of these remaining languages.
In the past few years in partnership with other ministries we have produced Algonquin, Mi’gmaq and James Bay Cree translations. A dozen native Canadian language translation projects are currently in process.
