A Passion for Translation
If you want to meet people who care about their work, the Canadian Bible Society's translation team in Kitchener, Ontario, epitomizes dedication and enthusiasm.
They provide technical support for new translations of the Bible, and are involved in translation projects as localized as Micmac in Eastern Canada and as global as Plautdietsch, spoken by Mennonite people originating in the Ukraine and now scattered across Russia, Germany and the Americas.
The Bible Society translation team often works in partnership with Wycliffe Bible Translators, which provides teams to coordinate and supervise translation projects in the field.
